The Coal River Group Inc. registered as a non-profit corporation with the Corporations Division of The Secretary of States office on March 22, 2004

Applications have been made with the Internal Revenue Service to obtain the 501c3 designation for the corporation. Once obtained that designation will allow contributors to make tax-deductible donations.

Officers of the Corporation are:

FUNDING

The Group has generated start up funding from donations made by the Board Members and interested volunteers.

The Group is soliciting additional donations from Volunteers, Private Business, and Government sources.

The Board of Directors regulates membership in the Group according to the By-Laws. Members will vote once a year on a slate of officers.
